This competition was created by Tulane School of Architecture to design and build the CNC Millhaus Facade. Millhaus is home to the 3-axis CNC router at Tulane School of Architecture. The prompt asked designs to consider the new facade as signage for Millhaus. In response, we aimed to re-create the TSA Millhaus logo three dimensionally at a large scale. At a micro-level each band of wood is uniquely cut & finished, this is accomplished by adjusting the step-over rate and angle of each cut. While creating signage was a key element of the prompt, we also focused on treating the installation as an educational tool for architecture students. Prospective Millhaus users will be able to see a range of finish options on one consistent form.

Speal’s Off Wheels is the permanent location for the Speal’s On Wheels food truck. This signage mural is a straight forward take on the original Speal’s On Wheels logo. The original logo was slightly altered from “on” to “off” while the stripes extended to the end of the wall giving the pavilion a retro atmosphere, while providing signage and placemaking for passing traffic.
Noble Stein

Cheers is an interactive mural designed and painted by myself at Noble Stein Brewing Company. This project aimed to create branding and interaction with customers in both physical and digital environments. The signature Noble Stein gnome is enlarged to a human scale inviting users to “cheers” the gnome for a photo-op that can be posted to social media. Additional signage was designed and created throughout the space including custom tap handles.
